A good example of personal development in action: Taylor Ware

If you recall the ‘reality show “America’s Got Talent,” a young 11-year-old girl impressed the show’s judges with her singing during on a 2006 episode.

Taylor Ware of Franklin, Tennessee won the hearts of all three judges with her yodeling skills that an overwhelmed David Hassellhoff acknowledged with his comment that she learned “from a tape…. and an instruction booklet??  You’re a good student!”

This rising star is a very good example of personal development in PRACTICE where she openly admitted that she acquired her skills in yodeling through books and tapes “related” to yodeling.  Note that she did NOT learn how to yodel by reading Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich.

Many network marketers make the mistake that they should READ a ton of books about personal development and not PRACTICE personal development by learning from books on internet marketing (IM).

My Lead System Pro, or MLSP, the online marketing education system is a great system on internet marketing, but, in my opinon, it should not be the only source from where you should be learning IM.  For that reason, MLSP professes that you PRACTICE personal development.

Just like Taylor Ware, an aspiring online marketer should be PRACTICING personal development by learning and studying tons of books related to online marketing and NOT just books from Napoleon Hill (Think and Grow Rich), John Maxwell (Leadership Gold), or Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad).  Keep in mind that these authors wrote great self-help books, but they are NOT authorities on internet marketing and neither will you if you continue to study from such books.

If you want to be recognized by your prospective distributors as an expert on internet marketing for your MLM business, then be sure that you are reading the RIGHT books to educate yourself on this topic.  Do NOT indulge too much on network marketing “fluff” and philosophy books that teach very little about online marketing.

Also consider attending a non-MLM related online marketing conference where you can network with other like-minded individuals who know the latest tips and techniques in online marketing without any “fluff” and philosophy.
