Convicted Felon Claims Participation in Tupac’s Shooting

An offender serving a life sentence states he shot Tupac Shakur in 1994, two years just before the rap icon was murdered. In a statement published on AllHipHop.com yesterday, Dexter Isaac, who has spent his life for the last 13 long years detained in Brooklyn (for unrelated criminal offenses), confesses to the Nov. 3 ambush which left the rap artist shot five times. He confesses that he had been paid $2,500 dollars by James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond to rob Shakur at Quad Studios in Manhattan.

Music executive Rosemond is most generally referred to as the founder of Czar Entertainment. His legal representative Jeffrey Lichtman is denouncing the declaration, informing the New York Post: “Wouldn’t you know it, [Isaac] spins this tale.”

Shakur recovered from the attack, however ended up being fatally shot in Las Vegas two years later, on Sept. 13, 1996. He was just 25. Soon after, The Notorious B.I.G. was shot and murdered in Los Angeles on March 9, 1997. Both killings continue to be unsolved; quite a few believe the cases are associated and linked to Isaac’s infamous 1994 attack.

Outlawz member E.D.I. Mean is convinced the confession will support and solve both murders, he told MTV.
