Those of you who watched Saturday morning wrestling on television should remember that Jim Crockett Jr and Jim Crockett Promotions (JCP) were synonymous with professional wrestling.
As a kid growing up in the 80’s, I clearly remember the likenesses of wrestling greats such as “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, “Ravishing” Rick Rude, Manny Fernandez, and many other wrestlers made famous by JCP.
It was an honor to meet the executive producer himself of televised NWA‘s World Champsionship Wrestling. It is not every day I get a chance to meet a famous person.
