FL high school student reportedly suspended after disarming gunman

It is despicable to think that someone is being punished for his act of heroism in saving the lives of his fellow students.

School officials at Cypress Lake High School in Fort Myers have suspended a 16-year-old high school student in his role of protecting the lives of fellow classmates as he wrestled the gun away from another student who threatened to shoot up the school.

School officials decided on turning the high school hero into a villain by imposing a 3-day suspension for his refusal to cooperate with the law enforcement or school investigation. Nevertheless, his act of heroism is being frowned upon.
