
Silent mourners together with heads bowed and yellow-orange candlelight leading the way paid their own respects to Elvis Presley at his grave at Graceland, his longtime Memphis home, to remember the 34th anniversary of his unexpected death.
Tens of thousands of Elvis fans, candles in hand, strolled while in the humid evening towards the graves of Elvis and his relatives, a few wiping away tears while they filed past. Floral arrangements as well as heart-shaped wreaths embellished the burial site as “If I Can Dream” along with other songs played softly in the background.
