Hello my friends, this is Marco Abanico and welcome to MLM television. Today I’d like to talk about what marketing is and why it’s important for your business. This is my own personal definition, and I’m sure you’ve found other definitions of marketing, but in a nutshell, marketing is simply this….it’s getting prospects for your business. It’s simple as that…getting prospects for your business.
The prospect could be a potential customer for your MLM business. It could be a potential distributor for your network marketing business. It could be a potential patient for dental practice. It could be a client for your law practice, or it could be a customer for your pizza shop. But regardless of what company that you’re working or what industry you’re in, marketing is always gonna be done in order to get prospects.
Why is marketing important for your business? Because whether you’re in the pizza business, or you’re in the dry cleaning business or in the taxi cab business, if you don’t do marketing, you’re not gonna get prospective customers. You’re not gonna get the clientele who’s essentially opening up their wallet to pay you for your product or service. Duh! That just makes sense. It’s the people who make the purchase from you, and if you don’t market to them, your not gonna get the proper people who’s gonna buy into your product or service.
If you’re gonna consider a network marketing company, don’t make a mistake that this company has the latest technology, the latest product or the latest cool pill and potion for their business….such as “oh! Wow this is so cool. This is gonna sell itself!” Well, you’re wrong. It’s not gonna sell itself. It’s YOU who is gonna be selling those products. It’s you who’s gonna be marketing it to the public so that those prospects can be attracted to what you’re selling, and hopefully, they open up their wallets to pay you for your goods and services.
So keep that in mind. Marketing is the key for any network marketing business. It’s not the MLM business opportunity. It’s marketing. So that’s my message for today. I’ll see you in the next video. Thank you for joining me in MLM television. Again, my name is Marco Abanico. Thank You!
