Prospecting is a term that we are all familiar with. It is one of the number one things that people are still taught to do to build their Organo Gold businesses, yet it appears to be the number one reason why most people get massively frustrated and potentially drop out of the industry.
Ever thought about that? Why the number one thing that people are taught to build their businesses with is also the number one thing that causes people the most frustration? What is prospecting? Prospecting is the event of trying to convert suspects into potential prospects, and that include all the objections and rejections that go along with that. Prospecting is approaching other people instead of having qualified prospects approach you. It is as simple as that.
As you can see, prospecting is essentially going out and approaching other people who have not yet expressed an interest in what you may offer and then giving them information about what you offer and then hoping that they say yes to your opportunity. That is, you are trying to convert them from someone who may not know or may not be interested in Organo Gold to someone who says yes and shows interest in what you offer.
You see the reason why prospecting is frustrating for people is because they have to go through all this rejection by way of approaching other people and trying to sell them on something, trying to pitch them on something, and trying to provide all this information on something. You as the distributor go through all uncomfortable feelings that come along with that sales process.
That is one of the reasons why it is so frustrating when, in reality, that there are actual prospects out there, actively searching for what you may have to offer. They are already interested in what you offer, and it is only a matter of knowing and learning how to effectively reach that demographic of prospects and attract them to you, through effective marketing. That is all it really is.
Let me give you an example. In this video, you probably arrived at this video by typing in a search term. I did not call you up and prospect you on the phone, did I? I did not call you up to say “hey, bob. I really would like you to take a look at this business, and I really think it could benefit you,” I did not do that, you found me. Why? Because I know how to market to people who are looking for information that I provide.
I can teach you how to do the same thing for your Organo Gold business, any other network marketing business, or your product or service. The truth is, you can go out and prospect people, but why would you want to do that? Why would you spend your valuable time trying to sort through all the needles in a haystack, instead of just going straight to where the needles are, and it is attracting the needles to you like a magnet through effective educational internet marketing?
