DALLAS, Texas — As I sat in Starbucks in the small town of Coppell, a gentleman sporting his company’s products approached me and sat down for a little one-on-one chat.
I had the pleasure of meeting with black diamond distributor, Luis Ventura, of Organo Gold this week. I have met millionaires in other industries of chiropractic, e-commerce, and internet marketing, but never one from the network marketing, or multi-level marketing (MLM), industry.
Mr. Ventura appeared to be a humble man as I conversed with him about the success he is having with his Organo Gold business. I was further amazed how he took the time out of his busy schedule of doing weekly Organo Gold presentations to meet with me face-to-face near the closing hours of the coffee shop.
It was exciting for me to learn how the former realtor was able to retire from his regular job with the growth of his MLM company.
For the next one hour, we exchanged ideas about getting business where he showed me how he gets prospects for his business as I showed him how I get prospects for mine. In essence, it was a meeting of the minds where offline marketing meets online marketing. It was such an invigorating learning experience as he humbly shared his offline marketing ideas with me.
I believe that success breeds success. If you ever want success in anything, you should always surround yourself with people who are successful. If you’re in any home based business, keep an open mind to new ideas even if they are not consistent with what you currently do for your business.
