The actual on-and-off romance between “Teen Mom” personalities Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley hit such a damaging low earlier this week that the reality celebrity allegedly attempted to take her own life. MTV affirmed to the Daily News on Tuesday of which Portwood had been hospitalized, but could not discuss the accuracy of reports that stated she had attempted suicide. Portwood’s sibling Shawn told E! News that the couple’s unstable relationship took a turn more intensely last Monday.
